Yes, you were designed to need a perfect Father, an unconditional perfect Father, the complete love of a father. However, your need for a perfect father can never be fulfilled in a mere man. Only your Heavenly Father can fill the deepest longings of your soul.

Dad’s, it is not about you becoming the perfect father for your children, but about the perfect Father living through you. That requires relationship. Christ came to reveal the Father, and He now lives in you as a Christian. You will fall short, but where you are weak, He is strong.

Stop performing and begin to participate with your Heavenly Father. Don’t believe the lie of performance-based value. God doesn’t love you more for what you do or love you less because of what you don’t do.

There are many pressures of being a father today, learn to rely on the only Perfect Father in tough times. Christ In you allows you to experience the Perfect Father. As Jesus said, In John’s gospel, “For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself.” Embracing the Love of the Father allows you to experience Life As God Intended.
